What an amazing engagement session we had with Tom and Stephanie. We were set for a 7:00pm session but the weather decided it wanted to roll some rain clouds in on us. Thankfully the rain held off until we were done. Literally seconds after we got in the car it poured. I love rain clouds because of the effects you can get if played right. Check out a few of my favorites from our session in Pittsburgh during the Steelers preseason opener. We ventured down to Heinz Field since Pittsburgh, Steelers and Heinz Field has a special memory for Tom and Steph.

Jill Draper and Jeff Ackermann are engaged and set to be married in sumer 2011! We can not wait to shoot their wedding! Plus my wife is going to be in the wedding party so this puts more pressure on me to do an even more amazing job!

Jill and Jeff are both teachers, coaches and huge sports fans so we ventured around Heinz Field and PNC Park and along the North Shore in Pittsburgh, PA. We had a great time and even shared an ice ball at the end. It was a hot and humid night so it was needed for sure, to cool down. Below are a few of our favorites from the session.

A fun Oakland engagement session with Colleen and Nick on Pitt campus where they got engaged. I will have the pleasure of photographing their wedding this late fall, early winter. Nick and Colleen were so much fun to photograph and very easy to work with. A perfect couple on a perfect day. Check out some from their fun photo session.

Have you ever wished you had that awesome accessory for your pictures or kicked yourself later because you were going to buy it but never did. I hear this at a lot of the weddings we photograph and even though we get awesome photos, it would be nice to have some fun stuff in the photos. I always feel weird bringing the props, so I leave that up to the bride and groom.

I think this would be fun for some really cool night shots or late evening right before the sun goes down. I just thought I would share my awesome find with all you brides out there and for other photographers to see some cool products to use. We just ordered a few for some up coming shoots we have.

Here are some of our favorites from 2009. What a great year it was! We met so many wonderful people and photographed so many fun events. We can not wait to start our adventure into 2010 and see what we have in store.

I while back I had the chance to photograph Jen before her wedding in Florida. I did not want to post these pics before the wedding in fear her husband would see them. Now that Jen is married we can show off her beauty and love for her wonderful dog.

For the month of October we are running an out of town special. With more and more people inquiring about us shooting their event out of town, we are going to run a one month special. If you are getting married in Philly or Lancaster PA or any area around there, you will get our Pittsburgh rates if you book us now. We are Pittsburgh based but we travel and love shooting in both those areas. Inquire now as many dates for 2010 are already taken. We have just a few left in 2009 also.

What a crazy weekend we had in Pittsburgh with amazing clouds and awesome lighting. I had the opportunity to photograph Jay and Laura today on the north shore of Pittsburgh. It was a chilly day down by the river but the sun made just enough light to create some very cool effects with the clouds.
